CDAC’s law enforcement training program, funded by a grant from the Colorado Peace Officer Standards and Training Board, provides valuable training opportunities for law enforcement throughout Colorado.  Currently, CDAC provides legal update trainings to law enforcement during which officers are given an in depth coverage of new statutes and new caselaw pertinent to their jobs, as well as a refresher over common constitutional issues.  In 2011, we will be introducing a new training program focused on assisting peace officers prepare for appearances in court.  If you want to set up a training please contact Mallory Rutherford, Training Coordinator, at mallory@cdac.state.co.us.  If you wish to discuss the trainings available and/or have a training need in your agency that is not currently addressed by our program, please contact Arnold Hanuman, Staff Attorney, arnold@cdac.state.co.us.
